How Great is our God

How God is great....Most of the People says God is Great...But the Main Thing is the realization of How Great He is and Why Great He Is......Please read Psalm 145 chapter and the highlighted words below to understand why God is great....Realize in your life...

Job 36:26 Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

God is good. God is great. God is precious. God is real.

Psalm 145
King James Version (KJV)
145 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
The Lord is gracious, and full of compassionslow to anger, and of great mercy.
The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
10 All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.
11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
14 The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.
15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
20 The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

In fact, the Bible says that God’s greatness is beyond comprehension.

Psalm 145:3 says, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.”

You can search and search for the end of God’s greatness, but you will not be able to find it. If you can imagine something greater than God, then what you believe to be God is not God.

God’s greatness is found in every aspect of his being. It is found in is knowledge-

God knows all things (Isaiah 40:13, Psalm 139:1-6);

in his Power to Create all things (Psalm 33:6-9, Isaiah 44:24, John 1:3, Colossians 1:15-17).

God is great in his being; God is a Spirit who can be everywhere at once (John 4:24, 2 Corinthians 3:17, cf. Hosea 11:9, Jeremiah 23:24, 1 Kings 8:27);

God is a Eternal (Psalm 90:2, 1 Tim. 1:17), and  self-sustaining.

The God of the Bible rules over everything, and has created everything that exists (Romans 9:5; Isaiah 44:24).

God cannot be anything less than the greatest thing you can imagine.

Nahum 1:3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

No matter what I need help with, He can and will help me.

A Small Story:

One  day I decided to quit…

I quit my job, my relationship, my  spirituality… I wanted to quit my life.

I went to the woods  to have one last talk with God.

‘God’,  I asked, ‘Can you give me one good reason not to quit?’

His  answer surprised me…

‘Look around’, He said. ‘Do you see the  fern and the bamboo?’

‘Yes’,  I replied.

‘When  I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of  them.

I gave  them light.

I gave  them water.

The  fern quickly grew from the earth.

Its  brilliant green covered the floor.

Yet  nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the  bamboo.

In the  second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.

And  again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on
the bamboo. He said.

‘In year three there was still nothing  from the bamboo seed.

But I  would not quit.

In  year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would

not quit.’ He said.

‘Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout  emerged from the earth. Compared

to the fern it was  seemingly small and insignificant…But just 6

months  later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.

It had spent  the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong
and gave  it what it needed to survive.

I would not give any of my  creations a challenge it could not handle.’

He asked me. ‘Did  you know, my child, that all this time you have
been struggling,  you have actually been growing roots’.

‘I  would not quit on the bamboo.

I will  never quit on you.’

‘Don’t  compare yourself to others.’

He  said.

‘The  bamboo had a different Purpose than the fern.

Yet  they both make the forest beautiful.’

‘Your  time will come’, God said to me.

‘You  will rise high’

‘How  high should I rise?’

I  asked.

‘How  high will the bamboo rise?’ He asked in return.

‘As high as it  can?’ I questioned.

‘Yes.’ He said, ‘Give me glory by rising  as high as you can.’

I left the forest and brought back this story.

I hope  these words can help you see that God will never give up on you.

Never, Never, Never Give up.

For the Christian Prayer is  not an option but an opportunity.

Don’t tell the Lord how big  the problem is,

tell the problem how Great the Lord  is!

Heavens door  open this morning, God asked me…

‘My CHILD,  what can I do for you?’

And I said, ‘FATHER, please protect and bless  the one reading this message.’

God smiled  and answered, ‘Request granted.’

This  message is now in your hands.

What will YOU do with it?
